Possible causes must now consider the geospatial (i.e., geodetic and cartographic) integrity of the applications used to create this situation. These include: stand-alone calculators, embedded geodetic engines (modified and unmodified), source of geodetic parameters (GeogCRS and ProjCRS), ortho-rectification processes, understanding of the units of measure, et cetera.
